Ortenovus S.L. acts as a purchasing agent for fruit and vegetables on behalf of wholesale buyers. Nothing is sold through this website; the website is informational and provides contact details. Purchases are governed by the buyer authorisation signed with the auction and by the invoice issued by the seller.
The design, texts, logo and own images of this website belong to Ortenovus S.L. Third-party names (for example, CASI) belong to their owners and are mentioned only to describe where we operate. Reproduction for commercial purposes without written permission is not allowed.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information accurate, but product availability, seasons and prices change daily and are indicative only. Ortenovus S.L. is not liable for interruptions, errors or third-party websites linked from here.
This notice is governed by Spanish law. Disputes are submitted to the courts of Almería (Spain), except where consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
Privacy policy

What we process. This website has no forms that send data to a server and no user accounts. The contact buttons open WhatsApp or your email application on your own device; the message is sent by you, from your own account, and reaches us as an ordinary WhatsApp message or email. We then process the data you include (name, company, phone, email, what you buy) only to answer you and, if you become a client, to manage the service.
Legal basis. Replying to your enquiry and managing the service (pre-contractual and contractual steps, art. 6.1.b GDPR); keeping invoices and accounting records (legal obligation, art. 6.1.c); keeping in touch with the contact persons of client companies (legitimate interest, art. 6.1.f).
Who receives your data. Only those needed to provide the service: the auction or grower that issues your invoice (your company details as buyer), our accountants, our hosting and email providers (as processors within the EU or with adequate safeguards), and public authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell data and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them.
How long. Enquiries without a contract: one year. Client data: while the relationship lasts and then the periods required by Spanish commercial and tax law (six years for accounting records).
Your rights. You may ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing by writing to ortenovus@gmail.com or to our postal address, stating "Data protection". We answer within one month. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es).
Security. The website is served over HTTPS and stores no personal data. WhatsApp and email run on your own device and provider; their privacy terms apply to those channels.
